Celebrate Dad This Father’s Day!

With Father’s Day right around the corner, you’re probably planning what you are going to do for your dad (or Father figure) to make his day special. Some super fun activities to do with your Dad, Grandpa, or important man in your life include:

·      Going to the beach for the day: Florida has a multitude of beautiful beaches to visit this Father’s Day. Going to the beach makes a great day trip, or an easy weekend getaway! Whatever you choose, Dad will enjoy relaxing by the waves where you can spend quality time together and make memories that will last forever.

·      Going to a nice dinner: If you plan on staying local this Father’s Day, taking Dad to a nice dinner is a great way to spend time together. Winter Haven is home to a variety of delicious restaurants to choose from. A nice lakeside seafood dinner at Harborside, a relaxing Italian meal at Arabella’s, or enjoying the fun atmosphere at FIRE eatery & bar for a tender steak are all great choices to celebrate Dad this year. ·      Go to a game: If your dad or special man in your life is a sports fan, going to a baseball game for Father’s Day is a great idea to have some fun quality time! If going to a professional game seems like an activity your dad would enjoy, Florida has multiple options from the Flying Tigers minor league team in Lakeland to the Tampa Bay Rays major league team in St. Pete and even the Miami Marlins!
