Show Your Love: How Insurance Lets Them Know You Care

Af0sF2OS5S5gatqrKzVP_SilhoutteLife is full of major moments.  Picture for a minute some of these major milestones that you maybe have gone through…or are looking toward.

The wedding day has arrived and your’e marrying the love of your life.  After the vows, setting up your tiny apartment and learning how to do life together consumes your time.

Fast forward a few years.  You’re going to be a parent!  Exercise equipment and leisure time are gradually replaced with cribs and pacifiers and long nights of walking the carpet with another love in your life.

Continue forward and you add a few more people to love to your family.  Pictures of family vacations and birthdays and backyard moments line the walls of your home and your time is consumed with soccer practices and working overtime to pay for braces.

Look a little farther and your baby is all grown up and headed to college.  She’s worried about her textbooks and if she’ll fit in.  You’re worried that you won’t be there to protect her.

When you reflect on all these moments (or look ahead to them), chances are, insurance isn’t exactly the first thing on your mind.  However, it should be a common thread in each of the scenarios mentioned above, just like the love you felt in those moments.

Why?

Insurance might seem technical and businesslike, but there is really no greater way to show your loved ones that you care.  Your spouse, your children, and even your grandchildren depend on you, and by making sure they are provided for with proper healthcare (and health insurance), life insurance coverage, and, occasionally, additional policies where needed, you are making sure they are always in the best shape possible.

As we approach Valentine’s Day, the topic we see everywhere is “love”.  While flowers, candy, and stuffed animals are nice, wouldn’t you rather make sure the ones you care about are provided for both now and in the future?

We think that’s one of the best ways to show love!
